This two-day event focuses on the future of farming and the wonderful foods from Italy’s Campania region.
What's Happening?
Hosted by the Campania Region’s Department of Agriculture, this is an ideas marathon. Expect three key conferences and nine themed panels, gathering farmers, researchers, institutions, businesses, and the public.
"Campania Mater" highlights three main ideas:
Sustainable: Preserving and enhancing agricultural resources.
Generous: Celebrating the variety and quality of local foods.
Future: Emphasizing innovation, research, and education.
Discussions will cover vital topics like soil and water protection, climate change adaptation, food-health links, waste reduction, and boosting Campania's global DOP products. Young people's roles in this industry are also in the spotlight.
