For me, that starting line was 2009.

When I first began organizing tours and cultural experiences in Campania, it wasn't a business plan or a grand commercial strategy. It was purely and simply a labor of love. I was captivated by the rich, fiery history of this volcanic landscape, and I wanted nothing more than to share that magic with a close-knit circle of friends who loved it just as much as I did. We spent days exploring, tasting, and falling in love with this region.

Over the years, the pace of life changed. The tours became fewer as other projects claimed my time, but that creative spark—the deep desire to connect people with the soul of Campania—never truly went away.

And that persistent spark is what brings me to today. 🌊🍷

I am absolutely thrilled to introduce "Sea & Sip"—private, custom volcanic wine tasting cruises departing directly from the historic Port of Pozzuoli.

With this project, I am taking wine education out of the classroom and onto the water! ⛵️

As your personal sommelier, I will host your private group on a beautiful vessel for an incredible sensory journey. Together, we will cruise past iconic volcanic calderas, sail along the scenic Phlegraean coast, and anchor in quiet, sun-drenched coves around the colorful island of Procida.

But this is not just a scenic boat ride. This is a masterclass in volcanic terroir. On deck, I will guide you through a curated tasting of 3 premium volcanic wines, featuring rare, ancient piede franco (ungrafted) selections. These are wines made from grapes grown on their original pre-phylloxera rootstocks in our sandy, ash-rich soils—offering an unbroken, delicious link to the ancient Roman world.

As the sea breeze carries the scent of salt and the sun warms the deck, you will taste the exact saline freshness and minerality of the landscape unfolding right in front of your eyes.

As I stand at the port of Pozzuoli and look out at the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea, I find myself wishing that the friends who were with me on those very first excursions back in 2009 could be on deck with me today.
